Waiting Lists

Criteria for Formation of Waiting Lists.

Waiting lists are formed following the order of arrival or first telephone contact. In the case of emergency requests, the severity of the case is evaluated by the Medical Director. If the case is deemed urgent, refer to the First Aid Station. Otherwise, the reservation is handled with top priority.

Expected Waiting Times and Actual Average Waiting Times.

For specialist examinations and diagnostic services, the expected waiting times for service delivery from the patient’s request and actual average waiting times have historically been less than four working days. Delivery of radiology reports is normally within 3 working days after the examination is performed, unless specific needs are established by the radiologist.

– Expected waiting time: Less than four working days.
– Actual average waiting time: Consistent with the expected waiting time.
